Welcome to the Sarasota County Imagination Library!
Give your child the gift of reading and learning with free books.
We regret that enrollment has been temporarily suspended due to funding limitations. We are sorry for the inconvenience but invite you to visit the Sarasota County libraries.
Young Sarasota County children are boosting their early literacy development and school readiness with enrollment in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
Children from birth to five years receive a free, high-quality picture book in the mail each month.
Thanks to generous funding by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, the Sarasota County Library System is able to offer this program here.
The Sarasota County Library System encourages families to join the Imagination Library and read together, and to enjoy their libraries for more great books.
